DNV GL has released a useful summary table of the new and retroactive requirements coming from the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) as well as the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
DNV GL has compiled a summary of important IMO/ILO regulations and requirements that will come into effect from 1 July 2015 through to 1 July 2018 inclusive. The class society says this information should prove useful for technical, safety, quality, and operation departments of shipping companies, but additionally, it could prove useful for shipbuilding and repair yards and newbuilding departments.
A fuller overview can be found in DNV GL’s ‘Requirement Explorerâ„¢’ accessible through DNV Exchange and in Rules Pilot which can be accessed via the DNV GL website.
