UK-based maritime services group Global Navigation Solutions (GNS) has launched new products that connect ship and shore in a single solution.
The company’s new web-based Voyager Management Service now allows ship managers to check that their ships have the required charts and publications even when they are on shore.
Cloud-based technology and GNS’ global reach enables customers to access account information regardless of where they are.
Voyager’s route planning functions have also been improved to provide new passage planning.
GNS’ head of navigational products Mike Bailey commented, “Voyager Management Service gives ship managers online access to previously unavailable information and an easier, more efficient way to purchase and manage the charts and publications their vessels rely on, for safe and compliant navigation.”
