A LNG shipping joint venture (JV) between Japan’s ‘K’ Line and Greece’s Chandris (Hellas) has fixed out two LNG carriers to BP.
The two ships, which are under construction at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), would be delivered by 2018.

BP intends to use the 173,400-m³ ships to transport LNG from the Freeport LNG project in Texas.
The JV had ordered the ships at DSME in December 2014 and on 20 July 2015.
